Standard Individual Health Plans
This is the most common type of coverage. This is renewable for multiple years. Individual
health plans are medically underwritten and can be declined for any reason.
Short-Term Health Plans
Short-Term health plans are temporary. They are designed for people who are between jobs;
waiting for another health plan to start; or recently graduated from college. Short-term plans are
designed to provide protection from unforeseen illness or injury. They do not cover pre-existing
conditions, routine exams, preventive care, dental or vision care.
