MEDICARE Rx PLANS  (Part D)
Prescription coverage for generic and brand name drugs.  Some plans cover generics in the gap.

MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLANS
Combined medical and prescription drug coverage.  The same or better benefits as the original Medicare plan.  

MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT PLANS
Also known as Medigap policies, they help pay for some of the costs that original Medicare doesn’t pay for. The premiums are higher than Medicare Advantage Plans.  Prescription coverage is not included.
